OPEN SPACE HOUSE

 

Il progetto della open space house è la risposta alla necessità di accogliere l'intera famiglia nelle ricorrenze festive.

 

L'oggetto di trasformazione è un appartamento nella provincia di Venezia, dove i proprietari sono soliti riunirsi con la famiglia. Il progetto verte sulla trasformazione radicale della zona giorno, recuperando e trasformando il più possibile gli arredi esistenti, ricollocandoli in una distribuzione più efficiente sotto un profilo di coerenza d'insieme, sia materico che cromatico.

 

Il materiale predominante è il quarzo, utilizzato come piano lavoro per la cucina e il rivestimento della scala. La scelta del quarzo è dettata dalle esigenze funzionali, uno spazio che verrà vissuto e sfruttato quotidianamente senza preoccuparsi di rovinarlo. Tutti gli arredi sono disposti nel perimetro dell'area giorno, raccolti visivamente da un anello in cartongesso sulla stessa cromia del quarzo, questa disposizione organizza lo spazio e concentra nel baricentro dei volumi le funzioni.

 

Oggetto di particolare attenzione di progetto è la scala, pulita e semplice è nascosta da una pannellatura in legno laccato bianco con una piccola apertura che lascia intravedere il passaggio delle persone, quasi a non negare la presenza della scala stessa, ma renderla meno dominante nell'ambiente.

OPEN SPACE HOUSE

 

The open space house project is the answer to welcoming the whole family in the festive occasions.

 

The object of transformation is an apartment in the province of Venice, where the owners are used to reunite with their families. The project focuses on the radical transformation of the living area, recovering and transforming the existing furnishings as much as possible, relocating them in a more efficient distribution in terms of overall consistency, both material and color.

 

The predominant material is quartz, used as a worktop for the kitchen and the covering of the staircase. The choice of quartz is dictated by functional needs, a space that will be lived and exploited daily without worrying about ruining it. All the furniture is arranged in the perimeter of the living area, visually collected by a plasterboard ring on the same colour of quartz, this arrangement organizes the space and concentrates the functions in the middle of the volumes.

 

The object of particular attention of the project is the staircase, clean and simple is hidden by a white lacquered wooden paneling with a small opening that allows a view of the passage of people, without denying the presence of the staircase itself, but making it less dominant in the environment.
